Required Skills:
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology (BC or BE)
PA Medical License and DEA Certification
Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
Strong procedural skills with the ability to perform approximately 4-5 scheduled procedures daily
Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
Ability to support inpatient and outpatient care, including rounding and follow-up
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with advanced procedures (EUS or ERCP) is a plus but not required
Prior experience with hospital-based consults and ER support
Familiarity with hospital workflows and multidisciplinary collaboration
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Proven track record in gastroenterology within a hospital or clinical setting
At least 1 year of post-training practice
Other Requirements:
Valid Pennsylvania medical license
DEA registration
Willingness to support approximately 2 weeks per month, including 24-hour call shifts
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with support staff including PAs and ER teams
Flexibility to cover scheduled procedures, rounds, and consults as needed
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $480.39, with weekly direct deposit pay, comprehensive benefits, paid sick time, and reimbursement for travel and licensure.
