Exciting Opportunity for a Locum OB/GYN Physician in Grass Valley, CA
Join our team as a Locum Physician specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology, providing essential coverage at a reputable hospital with a dedicated Family Birthing Center. This pivotal role offers you the chance to deliver high-quality care in a supportive environment, ensuring continuity for patients during periods of staff absence or maternity leave. Required Skills:
Active certification or current participation in ABOG or AOBOG examination process
Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
Minimum 100 gynecological surgical procedures in past two years or recent residency/fellowship
Proficiency in delivering babies, performing C-sections, and managing OB/GYN emergencies
Strong communication and clinical skills
Ability to work independently in a hospital setting
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Cerner EMR system
Prior locum or hospital-based OB/GYN practice
Familiarity with obstetric proctoring requirements
Additional training in advanced gynecological procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience
Proven record of performing surgical procedures and handling OB emergencies
Other Requirements:
Must obtain credentialing within 10 days of application
Must adhere to proctoring protocols, including observed deliveries and surgical cases
Licensing and certification must be current and verifiable
Availability for scheduled urgent dates: October 28, October 31, November 20-21, 2025
Travel and lodging support provided; preferred lodging at GoldMiner's Inn
Support staff includes anesthesiologists, general surgeons, and experienced respiratory therapists
Hourly Pay Rate: $18.72
