Are you a dedicated pediatric radiologist seeking an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful impact in pediatric healthcare? Our esteemed medical facility is looking for a highly skilled Pediatric Radiologist with expertise in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine to provide exceptional onsite coverage at a leading children's hospital. This role offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your specialized skills to improve patient outcomes and advance pediatric imaging.
In this position, you'll be instrumental in delivering high-quality radiological services, including reading X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs, while collaborating with a talented team committed to excellence in pediatric care. Your expertise will directly enhance the diagnostic processes that impact young patients’ health and well-being.
Required Skills:
Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology
CAQ certification or eligibility in Pediatric Radiology
Proven experience interpreting X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs
Ability to read and interpret radiological cases efficiently
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work onsite with flexible shift arrangements
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience working in a children's hospital setting
Additional certifications in Nuclear Medicine
Experience with fluoroscopy (FL) procedures
Familiarity with case logging requirements
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certification by the Board of Radiology in Pediatric Radiology (CAQ)
At least one year of post-fellowship clinical experience in pediatric radiology
Experience working in a hospital environment with diverse pediatric cases
Other Requirements:
Onsite coverage at Children’s Hospital of Michigan
Availability for approximately one week of coverage per month
Shift flexibility: Monday through Friday 4 pm to 12 am; Saturday/Sunday 12 pm to 8 pm; call shifts from 8 pm to 8 am
Submission of case logs and clean malpractice history
Licensure, certification, and reimbursement for travel as applicable
Position Details:
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
Contract Duration: Starting 01/31/2026
