We are seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Urologist to join a well-established, collaborative urology practice at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive urologic care to adult and pediatric patients within a single-site setting, emphasizing a balanced professional and personal life.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of urological conditions, including kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), urinary incontinence, urinary tract infections, and other common disorders.
Perform surgical procedures utilizing modern operating rooms, including preoperative planning, surgical intervention, and postoperative follow-up.
Provide consultative services in hospital and emergency room settings, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
Work closely with an experienced urologist and nurse practitioner within a team-based environment.
Participate in a manageable call schedule, averaging approximately 7 days per month covering hospital needs.
Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote informed decision-making.
Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards.
Engage in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives to stay abreast of advances in urology and enhance patient care.
Candidate Requirements:
Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Urology.
Valid DEA license.
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
No commute longer than 1 hour preferred.
Candidates must hold current U.S. medical licensure and be eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary range: $300,000 – $400,000 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and market standards.
