Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive adult and geriatric urology care in an inpatient and emergency department setting
Perform procedures including ureteroscopy, laparoscopic surgeries, nephrectomies, and incontinence treatments
Engage in 24-hour call coverage, supporting trauma and emergent cases
Document care accurately using Epic EMR system
Collaborate with a dedicated team of four Urologists and onsite lab and radiology services
Required Skills:
Board-certified or eligible in Urology
Proven experience with adult and geriatric patients
Proficiency with Urology procedures such as ureteroscopy, laparoscopic surgeries, and trauma management
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently during assigned shifts
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in high-volume hospital settings
Familiarity with trauma settings (Level II Trauma designation)
Additional experience with intraoperative ultrasound and incontinence procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Active medical license in South Carolina or eligible for licensure
Minimum of 2 years post-residency experience preferred but not required
Other Requirements:
Credentialing process estimated to take approximately 60 days
Willingness to travel and cover open dates specified
Reimbursement for flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rates
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care during assigned shifts
Start Date: April 28, 2026
