Job Description
Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist
Join our distinguished medical team as a Locum Physician specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) Hospitalist services. This critical role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will provide comprehensive OB-GYN hospitalist services, including on-call coverage and clinic duties, during weekend shifts starting November 1, 2025. Your expertise will help ensure that women receive exceptional care during their most vulnerable moments, contributing significantly to patient health and safety.
Required Skills
Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
Proven experience in OB-GYN hospitalist services or related fields
Ability to perform full scope OB-GYN care, including on-call duties and clinic responsibilities
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Comfortable working independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
Nice to Have Skills
Previous experience in a locum or temporary physician role
Knowledge of hospital workflows and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Bilingual abilities or additional language proficiency
Preferred Education and Experience
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Completion of OB-GYN residency program
Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in OB-GYN hospitalist settings
Other Requirements
Availability to work weekend shifts, with flexibility for additional coverage if needed
Willingness to perform on-call duties and clinic work as required
Any applicable certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and ATLS
Reimbursement for travel, licensure, certification, and related expenses when applicable
