Experience: Previous ICU and cardiac OR experience, vein harvesting preferred

Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (pay package discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do
Rounding in ICU, pre, and post-cardiac surgery units
Managing patients coming off ventilators in critical care settings
Caring for patients emerging from OR with open hearts, VATS, and lung procedures
Assisting with vein harvesting procedures (preferred)
Providing direct patient care and collaborating with surgical teams
Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed
Documenting patient care activities accurately and promptly
What You Need
Valid Physician Assistant license in Texas
Current BLS certification
Previous ICU experience, especially in cardiothoracic surgery
Experience managing ventilated patients and post-operative care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced environment
