What You'll Need to Succeed:
NCCPA Certification is required - active and current
NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS (please do not apply if not enrolled)
Excellent clinical judgment and strong communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Meditech 6.1
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in emergency medicine or acute care settings
Bilingual abilities or additional language skills to assist diverse patient populations
Familiarity with hospital-owned accommodations and cross-disciplinary collaboration
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's degree or higher from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant emergency medicine experience
Other Requirements:
Availability to work open shifts on 7/1, 7/2, and 7/6 from 12 PM to 12 AM
Ability to see approximately 18-20 patients during each 12-hour shift
Housing in hospital-owned apartments with travel costs capped at $500, where applicable
