What You'll Do:
As a vital part of our urgent care team, you will treat both adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older), perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations, and work independently as the sole provider at your assigned center. Your expertise will ensure high patient throughput and excellent care delivery, all while embodying our culture of compassion and professionalism.
Required Skills:
Minimum 12 months of urgent care or emergency medicine experience
Valid board certification (PA certification, Family Nurse Practitioner certification, or equivalent)
Proficiency with Epic EMR system
Ability to treat all patients independently
Strong soft skills and excellent patient communication
Current BLS, NC DEA license, and active certification(s) as applicable
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience managing a high volume of patients
Pediatric care experience (6 months+ preferred)
Ability to perform minor procedures
Prior experience working in a fast-paced urgent care setting
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited PA or Nurse Practitioner program
Certified by NCCPA or appropriate certifying body
At least 1 year of urgent care or emergency medicine experience
Other Requirements:
Local candidates only (within 60 miles of assigned centers; reimbursement capped at 60 miles)
Must participate in EMR training and onboarding sessions scheduled on designated Wednesdays
Willingness to work at multiple site locations as needed
All credentialing requirements must be completed prior to onboarding
