Job Description
Join Our Team as a Licensed Physical Therapist – Make a Difference Every Day
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to provide top-quality outpatient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This 26-week contract offers you the opportunity to work Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, specializing in upper extremity therapy with a supportive team committed to your professional growth. Your role will include collaboration with local educational partners, mentoring new grads, and contributing to a facility that values excellence and innovation.
Required Skills:
Valid Physical Therapist license
BLS certification
Upper extremity therapy experience
Proficiency in outpatient care settings
Ability to manage a patient load of approximately 8 patients daily
Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
Flexibility to work with a diverse patient population
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
Dry needling training
Fitness-forward approach
Experience precepting or mentoring new graduates
Knowledge of swing bed programs and hospital-based therapies
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Minimum of one year of outpatient therapy experience
Previous exposure to inpatient or swing bed services is advantageous
Other Requirements:
Willingness to assist occasionally with swing bed program
Open to working with students and precepting as needed
Must adhere to all facility policies regarding scrubs (any color acceptable)

Hourly Pay Rate: $63.65
