In this role, you will manage a varied caseload, including inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient, and skilled nursing patients. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from spinal cord injuries, strokes, surgeries, traumatic injuries, and more. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about improving patient outcomes.
Required Skills:
Current Louisiana PT license
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a specialty setting
Ability to manage caseload independently
Experience with diverse patient populations, including medically complex and debilitated patients
Proficiency with EMR systems such as EPIC, Meditech Expanse, and Wellsky
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Experience working in inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient, or skilled nursing
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Experience with pediatric or neuro-specific diagnoses
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Prior experience in inpatient rehab, acute, outpatient, or skilled nursing settings
Adaptability to diverse patient needs and clinical environments
Other Requirements:
Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
No call requirements; no weekend coverage for outpatient
Participation in department-specific orientation (2-3 days)
Scrub color: Pewter for inpatient; professional attire for outpatient
Free parking at all facilities
Willingness to occasionally cover IPR and acute care units (approximately once per month)
No holiday work expectations
Travel reimbursement and licensing/Certification support as applicable
