Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient Orthopedics

In this outpatient orthopedic role, you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients restore mobility and function. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a supportive and innovative setting. This position guarantees a stable schedule, Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts, providing a healthy work-life balance. The role begins on May 18, 2026, and offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $60.30, along with comprehensive benefits.
Required Skills:
Current Louisiana PT license
Ability to independently manage a caseload
Experience with general orthopedics, sports medicine, pediatrics, and neuro-specific diagnoses
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Proficiency in EMR systems including EPIC, Wellsky, Meditech Expanse, and AOD
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with inpatient rehab, acute care, and skilled nursing settings
BLS, ACLS, or NIHSS certifications
Prior experience with therapy for complex, medically vulnerable patients
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
Minimum of 1+ years in outpatient orthopedics or a specialty setting
Willingness to consider first-time travelers based on experience and skillset
Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and insurance if required
Full participation in departmental and hospital orientations (2-3 days)
No weekend coverage required; occasional inpatient or acute coverage may be scheduled
No holiday work expectations
Support from supervisors, assistant directors, and peer therapists throughout your assignment
