Join Our Team as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist

Required Skills:
Valid medical license in the state of practice, in good standing
Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Proven experience in inpatient rehabilitation or physiatry services
Strong understanding of CMS, The Joint Commission standards, and healthcare regulations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Proficiency in electronic health record documentation and adherence to documentation standards
Nice to Have Skills:
Additional certifications in pain management or related fields
Experience working in hospital or rehabilitation facility settings
Familiarity with telemedicine and electronic medical systems
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
At least 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting
Active medical license with no restrictions or history of disciplinary actions
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a plus
Other Requirements:
Ability to work scheduled hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with flexibility for night call (5 p.m. to 8 a.m.) and weekend coverage
Must complete documentation at the time of each visit
Participation in inpatient admissions, rounding, and documentation in compliance with hospital policies
Willingness to provide coverage as needed, with potential for additional resources during summer 2026
Active license and clean professional history; IMLC acceptance may be considered later
