Key Responsibilities:
Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for incarcerated individuals.
Ensure accuracy and proper documentation of medication handling processes.
Adhere strictly to security protocols and facility regulations to maintain a safe, compliant working environment.
Support inventory management and documentation procedures in accordance with state and federal laws.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of medication dispensing procedures and regulatory compliance standards.
Ability to follow complex security protocols diligently.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
Nice to Have Skills:
Certification from a recognized pharmacy technician program.
Previous experience working within correctional or secure facilities.
Familiarity with electronic medical records and pharmacy management systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least one year of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
Other Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for ICE clearance (expedited process available for new activation).
Ability to pass thorough background and credit investigations required for security clearance.
Availability to work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday.
Start date: February 16, 2026.
Hourly Pay Rate: $26.00 (W2)
