We’re seeking a skilled Pharmacy Tech to support our oncology pharmacy team in Canton, Georgia. This pivotal role ensures the safe and efficient preparation and dispensing of chemotherapy and hazardous drugs, directly impacting patient outcomes. What You’ll Bring:
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a specialty pharmacy setting
Valid registration as a Pharmacy Technician in Georgia
Proven experience with hazardous drug handling and chemo compounding
Expertise in IV mixing and preparation
Strong attention to detail and excellent technical skills
Ability to assist pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing prescriptions
Adaptability to work across multiple pharmacy functions including oncology, inventory, narcotics, and outpatient services
Compassionate approach to patient care for individuals of all ages
Additional Skills That Are a Plus:
Experience with pharmacy software systems
Knowledge of radiation safety practices
Previous work in a hospital or clinical setting
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
Prior oncology pharmacy experience
Familiarity with sterile compounding regulations
Other Requirements:
Must have IV and hazardous drug compounding experience
Ability to work scheduled hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and ongoing education requirements
