This vital role involves supporting patients through insurance billing, prior authorizations, and medication assistance programs, ensuring seamless access to medications and financial support. Required Skills:
Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance billing, revenue cycle management, or prior authorizations
Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system (big plus)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proven professionalism with consistent work history
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Nice to Have Skills:
Pharmacy technician license or certification
Experience working in pharmacy or healthcare related environments
Knowledge of medication assistance programs or grant funding processes
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School diploma with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, or
Associate’s degree in a related field with 1 year of relevant experience
Other Requirements:
Onsite training at KU Southlake Campus for 3 months, with potential for hybrid work thereafter
Availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
No weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements
Must complete orientation on KU main campus every Monday and Tuesday
Certifications and credential submissions due one week prior to start date
Ability to work with a nicotine-free environment; adherence to all safety and confidentiality protocols
