What You’ll Do
Operate ultrasound and vascular imaging equipment following exam protocols
Select appropriate transducers and adjust controls for optimal imaging
Explain procedures to patients considering their age and comprehension levels
Assess patient discomfort or pain, escalating concerns to physicians as needed
Maintain patient safety and reduce healthcare errors through proper procedures
Document patient information accurately in EMR (HMS Medhost)
Perform equipment maintenance and adjustments
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
What You Need
Required:
Valid NH MIRT license or equivalent
Minimum 1-year ultrasound and vascular imaging experience
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and follow protocols
Preferred:
Additional certification in vascular imaging
Experience with HMS Medhost EMR
