End Date/Duration: Permanent contract (open-ended)
Shift: 7.5 (or minimum 5.5) 24-hour shifts per month
Hours/Week: Approximately 30–40 hours (based on shifts selected)
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN required
Experience: Prior OB hospitalist experience preferred but not mandatory
Attend approximately 60 deliveries per month at a Level-III NICU
Manage OB triage, patient evaluations, and deliveries
Assist in surgical procedures and monitor fetal health
Provide inpatient high-risk obstetric care in collaboration with MFM specialists
Cover ER and inpatient units, ensuring continuous comprehensive care
Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
Collaborate with a dedicated OB hospitalist team in a busy tertiary care setting
What You Need:
Valid California medical license and OB/GYN certification (Board Certified/Eligible)
Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology
Ability to work 24-hour shifts, with flexibility for part-time schedules
Commitment to high-quality patient care in a team environment
