Schedule: 7.5 or 5.5 24-hour shifts per month (flexible options)
Experience: Board Certified or Eligible in OB/GYN (Texas license required)
License/Certifications: Active Texas medical license preferred
Hours/Week: 30–40 hours (based on shifts)
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $1.00/hr (estimated annual salary ~$292,000 assuming full schedule)
Provide OB/GYN inpatient care, including deliveries, triage, and emergency consults
Perform Cesarean sections and assist with surgical procedures during delivery
Manage high-risk pregnancies in collaboration with specialists
Perform OB triage, admissions, and inpatient management
Respond to labor and delivery emergencies
Collaborate with neonatologists and maternal-fetal medicine specialists in a Level II NICU
Provide coverage for unassigned patients and assist with private call responsibilities
Serve a busy community with a delivery volume of 1,924/year, including 96 C-section deliveries
What You Need
Required:
Board Certified or Eligible OB/GYN
Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
Minimum of 2 years’ obstetric practice experience preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule (7.5 or 5.5 shifts/month)
Preferred:
Experience working in a hospital setting with Level II NICU support
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
