Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (Note: Pay details to be discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do
Provide direct medical care for hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide array of acute and chronic conditions
Collaborate with specialists, primary care providers, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other team members
Coordinate patient care plans and ensure smooth transitions of care
Order, interpret, and respond to laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostics
Document all patient encounters thoroughly in the EMR
Respond to medical emergencies, including codes and rapid response situations
Provide ventilator management and participate in interdisciplinary rounds
Educate patients and families on diagnoses and follow-up care
Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives
What You Need
Active MD or DO license in Vermont or ability to obtain
Prior hospitalist experience preferred but not required
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
