Experience: At least 3 years in cardiac/cardiovascular surgery and ICU management
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (Note: Pay package discussed upon application)
Competitive annual salary: $100,588 – $143,769 (based on experience)

What You’ll Do
Provide expert perioperative care for cardiothoracic surgery patients with a patient-first approach
Assist in complex cardiac surgeries, including endoscopic vein harvesting and surgical procedures
Manage ICU and cardiovascular surgical patient care, including rounding and evaluations in CVICU, floor, and clinic
Participate in two full-day clinics weekly with additional patient appointments as needed
Rotate through operating room coverage Monday through Friday
Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary environment
Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests
Develop and implement detailed care plans and follow-up protocols
Prescribe medications and ensure accurate clinical documentation
Perform bedside procedures appropriate for cardiac surgery patients
Operate independently under physician supervision with expert clinical judgment
Complete ongoing Continuing Medical Education (CME) to maintain and enhance skills
What You Need
Valid Colorado Physician Assistant license or eligibility
Minimum 3 years of experience in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery and ICU patient management
Key skills: clinical judgment, teamwork, adaptability, strong communication skills
