Pay & Benefits:
  • Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (additional compensation details discussed upon application)
  • Bonuses: $20,000 sign-on bonus with 2-year commitment

What You’ll Do:
  • Evaluate patients’ neurological, skeletal, respiratory, and cardiovascular function through formal/informal testing.
  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance.
  • Document and coordinate treatment plans with physicians, co-sign verbal orders as needed.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on their conditions, treatment options, and prognosis.
  • Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and assist in securing necessary supplies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for billing and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, community education, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a case manager and promote physical therapy services within the community.

What You Need:
  • Valid Michigan Physical Therapy license.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of outpatient care standards and safety procedures.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing learning and OSHA training.
  • Able to perform physical activities typical for a medium-demand role, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
