Job Title: Physical Therapist - Outpatient, Days - Alpena, MI

Shift: Day shift, M-F (exact hours TBD)
Hours per week: 40+ hours
Employment Type: Full-Time Perm
Certifications: Valid State of Michigan Physical Therapy License required
Experience: At least 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (plus Sign-On Bonus of $20,000)

What You’ll Do:
Evaluate patients' function through assessment and testing measures for skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular statuses
Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment data
Coordinate with physicians to submit treatment regimes and update plans as needed
Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding conditions, treatment options, and prognosis
Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students, ensuring compliance with standards
Recommend adaptive and supportive equipment and assist in securing necessary devices
Document treatment interventions, patient responses, and changes accurately for billing and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to maximize patient outcomes
Promote community education about physical therapy and health awareness
What You Need:
Required: Michigan Physical Therapy license; CPR and OSHA training; ability to work independently
Preferred: 1+ year outpatient therapy experience, strong communication and teamwork skills
