Blanchard Valley Health System, a nationally recognized and award-winning independent health organization in Findlay, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Rheumatologist (MD/DO) to join our state-of-the-art outpatient facility at Wellness Park. Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive outpatient rheumatology care exclusively at BVHS Wellness Park.
Develop a flexible, personalized schedule: choose full-time, part-time, or week-on/week-off arrangements.
Manage a patient panel tailored to your preferences, including varying age groups and disease complexity.
Collaborate closely with a full spectrum of medical and surgical specialists to ensure integrated patient care.
Participate in weekly on-site Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, including Mayo Clinic Care Network offerings.
Utilize Cerner EMR system seamlessly across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Contribute to quality initiatives and practice development, with autonomy in shaping clinical workflows.
Engage in optional teaching roles for medical students and advanced practice provider trainees.
Leverage Mayo Clinic resources such as eConsults, eBoards, and AskMayoExpert for clinical support.
Benefit from 24/7 in-house hospitalist support for inpatient needs.
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
Valid medical license in Ohio or eligible to obtain one.
Strong commitment to patient-centered outpatient care.
Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary of $300,000 annually for a standard 40-hour workweek, with potential total earnings up to $500,000 through wRVU-based bonuses.
Sign-on bonus of $50,000.
Loan repayment options available (monthly, quarterly, or annual stipends).
Up to $10,000 in relocation assistance.
$5,000 annual CME and board certification support.
248 hours paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and CME days.

403(b) retirement plan with a 4% employer match (begins in year two).
Sick leave accrual up to 600 hours.
