What You’ll Do
  • Provide specialized neonatal intensive care in a 92-bed Level IV NICU
  • Manage high-acuity neonatal cases using evidence-based, continuous care
  • Participate in 24/7 in-house coverage with neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners (NNPs)
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (including pediatric subspecialists) for coordinated neonatal care
  • Support and supervise resident rotations through the NICU (as assigned)
  • Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the NICU
  • Provide family-centered care, including clear, empathetic communication in a high-empathy clinical setting

What You Need Required
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist
  • Ability to provide permanent full-time services with residency in the immediate local area (relocation may be required)
Preferred
  • Experience in a Level IV NICU or high-acuity neonatal environment (not required per posting, but alignment is encouraged)
  • Comfort working within structured in-house coverage and call systems

About the Assignment
Memorial Health Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital in Savannah, Georgia—partnering with HCA Healthcare and Pediatrix Medical Group—is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to join a collaborative, high-acuity Level IV NICU team. The role includes multidisciplinary teamwork, strong clinical and operational support, and an academically engaged environment with resident involvement. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring local residency (relocation may be required).
