What You’ll Do
Provide neonatal care in a 66-bed Level III NICU setting
Perform daily rounding and coordinate clinical decision-making with the care team
Provide on-call coverage from home every other night as scheduled
Deliver care for complex neonatal needs, including high-frequency ventilation and specialized therapies (e.g., nitric oxide and brain cooling)
Work collaboratively with experienced neonatal nurse practitioners (NNPs) and readily available subspecialty support
Participate in clinical responsibilities within a pediatric hospital environment as part of the Neonatology group
Support the continuity of care across the unit during active coverage weeks

This permanent Neonatology opportunity is with a leading facility in Macon, Georgia, home to a dedicated pediatric hospital serving central and south Georgia. The unit is a state-of-the-art Level III NICU (66 beds) and is associated with a teaching environment through Mercer Medical School. The facility also holds Level-I trauma designation and regional perinatal/neonatal center status.
