Neonatologist - Practice in Las Vegas, NV | Level III NICUs & Leading Hospital Systems

  • Location: Las Vegas, NV (Mountain View Hospital & Southern Hills Hospital)
  • Start Date: 02/21/2024 (approximately 2-4 weeks upon offer)
  • Duration: Full-time ongoing employment
  • Shift: Rotating day/night shifts (schedule to be discussed)
  • Hours per week: 40+
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Required Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist
  • Experience: New fellows graduating through 2025 encouraged to apply


Pay & Benefits:
  • Salary: Starting at $250,000 for new graduates (experience-based increases to be discussed)

What You'll Do:
  • Provide expert neonatal care in Level III NICUs at Mountain View and Southern Hills Hospitals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatric subspecialists (neurology, cardiology, surgery, pulmonology, gastroenterology)
  • Utilize high-frequency ventilation, body cooling, and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapies
  • Manage complex neonatal cases and ensure evidence-based, quality outcomes
  • Contribute to teaching, quality improvement, and clinical research initiatives
  • Participate in on-call duties and weekend coverage (schedule to be discussed)


What You Need:
Required:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
  • Medical License for Nevada (or eligible to obtain)
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Preferred:
  • Previous NICU experience or fellowship training
  • Strong communication and team skills
