Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) invites dedicated physicians to become part of our expanding team serving Northwest and Central Ohio. We are seeking a qualified Endocrinologist to join our state-of-the-art Wellness Park facility, opening in January 2025. This opportunity offers both professional fulfillment and a supportive environment to enhance your clinical career.
Position Overview
As an Endocrinologist at BVHS, you will provide outpatient care for patients with a broad spectrum of endocrine and metabolic conditions, including diabetes management, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances. The practice will be located within the new Wellness Park, a comprehensive musculoskeletal and specialty care center featuring Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Podiatry, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Rheumatology, Family Medicine, and Pediatrics.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse outpatient caseload, seeing approximately 15-20 patients daily.
Provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of endocrine disorders.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care.
Offer consultation and support to general practitioners and other specialists.
Engage in patient education focused on lifestyle modifications and disease management.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols.
Contribute to the development of outpatient services and practice operations.
Receive robust support from subspecialty colleagues and hospital administration.
Schedule & Practice Flexibility
Flexible work arrangements, including:
Part-time or full-time schedules (2-5 days/week with 8-12 hour shifts).
Alternating week on/week off schedules.
10-hour days within a 28-day rotation.
Options for extended morning or evening hours to accommodate patient needs.
Predominantly outpatient practice with optional inpatient consults.
No overnight emergency responsibilities.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
Candidates with residency training, fellowship, or experience are welcome.
Applicants must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary ranging from $280,000 to $320,000, commensurate with experience.
