Description: Henry Ford Medical Center - Cascade Ridge is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Dermatologist to build a dynamic and collaborative team in Jackson Michigan. This newly renovated medical Center provides a variety of services for men women and children combined with a caring professional staff—encourages patients to feel welcome and relaxed.
Job Description:Open to TRULY Board Eligible candidates within 1 year of graduation must become Board Certified within 3 years of graduation
Desired start date: As soon as possible with 90 days for credentialing.Practice setting: Outpatient and clinicReason for coverage: Reopening the dermatology practiceSchedule: Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule. Minimum of 36 direct patient contact hours with 4 hours of administrative time.Facility's trauma level/designation: Level 2.Medical and cosmetic services: Dermatology practice focuses on 90 medical and 10 cosmetic dermatology with potential for growth in the cosmetic side if desired.
High procedure volume: Approximately 80 of patient visits involve procedures ranging from skin tag removals to skin cancer biopsies. Providers typically see 4-5 patients per hour with 3-4 involving a procedure.Work-life balance: Join a system that promotes and values an excellent work-life balance.Documentation system/EMR: EPICNot open to 1099 candidates for this positionNot open to Locums candidatesNot open to candidates who have lapsed Board Certifications and need to obtain them againNot open to providers who want to commute long distances more than 1 hour and/or in conjunction with another jobsOpen to H1B visa candidates but cannot accept J1 visa candidates
Compensation and Benefits:
