Start Date: 06/21/2024 (or upon approval)
End Date/Duration: 12 months (renewable)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nocturnist overnight coverage)
Hours/week: 40+ hours
Employment Type: Full-Time
Licenses/Certifications: ANCC certification, BLS, Board Certified, DEA
Experience: Minimum 2 years trauma or acute surgical care preferred
Pay & Benefits
Pay Range: $136,822 – $179,379 annually, based on experience
Incentives: Up to $10,000 annually through QVIP; relocation up to $10,000

What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive overnight trauma and acute care surgery services
Conduct patient assessments, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings
Support trauma surgeons with procedures and patient management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while working independently
Document all care accurately using Epic EMR
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
Participate in ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership activities
What You Need
Required:
ANCC Certification, BLS, Board Certification, DEA
Active Colorado RN license or ability to obtain
Minimum 2 years of trauma/acutes surgery experience or surgical fellowship completion
Able to work overnight, 7P-7A shifts
Preferred:
Experience in trauma or acute care specialty
Strong collaborative and autonomous work skills
