Experience: Prior cardiac or cardiovascular ICU and surgical experience preferred
Pay & Benefits
Pay package: Salary between $100,588 and $143,769 annually, based on experience
Bonuses: Eligibility for quality and productivity bonuses; relocation bonus for qualifying candidates

What You’ll Do
Provide advanced care for cardiothoracic surgical patients with a focus on compassionate, patient-first treatment
Assist in cardiac surgeries, including performing endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting as needed
Manage ICU and surgical unit patients, including rounding, evaluation, and treatment planning
Conduct outpatient clinics twice weekly and see additional patients on other days
Participate in OR coverage from Monday to Friday, ensuring quality surgical support
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, physicians, and intensivists
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform patient care
Develop comprehensive care plans, order medications, and ensure timely documentation
Perform bedside procedures appropriate to the patient population
Maintain ongoing education to meet licensing and registry requirements
Demonstrate independent clinical judgment in a high-stress environment while adhering to regulatory policies
What You Need
Required:
Valid Colorado RN license
ANCC or AANP certification as Nurse Practitioner
BLS (AHA) certification
DEA registration
Minimum of 1 year of ICU, cardiothoracic surgery, or related clinical experience
Preferred:
Prior experience in cardiothoracic surgery or CVICU
