End Date/Duration: Contract ongoing
Shift: Variable shifts including 10-hour days (Mon-Thu), weekends (8 hours), and 16-hour nights on a rotating basis, no call required
Hours/Week: 40-48 hours
Employment Type: Permanent
Licenses/Certifications: NNP Board Certified (No FNP, PNP)
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of NNP experience (excluding RN experience)
Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (note: this seems nominal; confirm relevant pay details during discussion)

What You’ll Do:
Provide expert neonatal care to critically ill infants in a Level-III NICU setting.
Use advanced ventilation techniques, nitric oxide therapies, and brain cooling procedures.
Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
Monitor infant progress, adjust treatments accordingly, and document care accurately.
Assist with family education and support for Neonatal Intensive Care services.
Contribute to clinical research and medical education initiatives at Mercer Medical School.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
What You Need: Required:
NNP Board Certification (must be current; no exceptions)
A minimum of 2 years of recent NNP experience in a Level-III NICU setting
Valid Georgia licensure or eligibility to practice in Georgia
Current BLS certification
Preferred:
Experience with high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and therapeutic cooling
Prior involvement in academic or teaching roles at medical schools
Strong communication and teamwork skills
