Henry Ford Medical Center in Novi, MI, is actively seeking experienced, Board-Certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our dedicated anesthesia team in a full-time capacity. Key Responsibilities:
Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to patients across all age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics, ensuring safe and effective anesthesia care.
Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, document clinical findings, and develop individualized anesthetic management plans in collaboration with anesthesiologists.
Manage all aspects of anesthesia care perioperatively, including preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management, and immediate postoperative recovery.
Provide airway management, including intubations, and respond to emergent clinical situations across various hospital settings.
Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of all anesthesia and patient care activities in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
Support patient safety initiatives, participate in quality improvement programs, and adhere to all regulatory standards.
Lead, educate, and mentor peers and new staff, fostering a collaborative and respectful team environment.
Engage in ongoing professional development, incorporating evidence-based practices and research into clinical care.
Assist with patient and family education, ensuring understanding of procedures and recovery expectations.
Participate in on-call responsibilities, with flexible scheduling, including varied day shifts and weekends.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize perioperative patient care and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Active Board Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA); candidates with previously held certifications seeking recertification are encouraged to apply.
Completion of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
Minimum of 2 years of current CRNA clinical experience—excluding RN training.
Current certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
Ability to work in outpatient and hospital-based settings, providing anesthesia across diverse clinical environments.
Demonstrated leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Flexibility, self-direction, and a strong team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to travel between multiple ambulatory sites as needed.
Certifications & Licensure:
Valid State of Michigan license or eligible for licensing.
Willing to work in a regulated environment adhering to all safety and compliance standards.
Must maintain current certification and licensure throughout employment.

Work Environment & Additional Details:
Predominantly outpatient anesthesia at a modern Ambulatory Surgery Center, with potential assignments in radiology, ICU, ER, and other hospital departments.
Work is performed primarily in operating rooms under variable conditions, with appropriate safety and infection control measures in place.
