Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Jackson, MI

Position Overview:
This is a full-time, inpatient anesthesia care position located at a Level II Trauma Facility. The CRNA will provide comprehensive anesthesia services across all age groups, including infants, children, adults, and geriatrics, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams throughout the peri-operative process. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver anesthesia care and analgesia management for diverse surgical and diagnostic procedures.
Assess, prepare, and monitor patients across the peri-operative period, ensuring optimal outcomes.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
Manage anesthesia for a variety of procedures, including trauma cases, with minimal supervision.
Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system (Epic).
Qualifications and Certifications:
Certification: Must be Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) at start date; candidates who were previously certified and need recertification are encouraged to apply.
Education: Completion of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program is mandatory.
Licensure: Full, unrestricted RN license in the state of Michigan, with eligibility for certification renewal if applicable.
Experience: Skilled in handling diverse patient populations, with preferred prior experience in a trauma or acute care setting.
Certification Requirements: ACLS, BLS, PALS, AANA membership, and active state license.
Eligibility to work in the United States; H1B and J1 visa holders are welcome to apply.
New graduates and final-year CRNA students from accredited programs are encouraged to apply, pending licensure and credentialing approval.
Additional Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, communicate effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Physical ability to handle moderate physical activity, including standing/walking for extended periods and lifting objects up to 25 pounds.
Knowledge and adherence to OSHA safety protocols, including blood-borne pathogen precautions and use of personal protective equipment.
Successful completion of OSHA training required.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
Schedule: A flexible mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, with the option to transition to longer hours. Minimal call responsibilities.
Compensation: $238,368 annually ($114.60/hour) with a $30,000 starting bonus. High shift premiums are available for evening shifts.
