Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Perm Position at Blanchard Valley Health System, Findlay, OH
Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) invites qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our esteemed and collaborative care team in Findlay, Ohio. Position Overview:
Location: Findlay Hospital, Bluffton Hospital, Findlay Surgery Center, or a combination of these facilities within the BVHS system.
Employment Status: Permanent, hospital-employed (full-time or part-time) or 1099 contractor options.
Schedule: Flexible self-scheduling on 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, offering a balance of work and personal time. Opportunities for overtime are available.
Case Mix: Diverse cases including ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, gynecological surgery, low-risk obstetrics, urology, and minor pediatric cases. Providers have the flexibility to select cases aligned with their skills and interests.
Team Environment: Join a multidisciplinary care team comprising seven full-time physicians and 18 CRNAs, operating within a care model that emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and equitable call scheduling.
Mentorship: Dedicated one-on-one mentorship available for new graduates to facilitate smooth transition into practice.
Qualifications:
Certification: Board Certified in Nurse Anesthesia (verified through VMS).
Experience: Open to both experienced providers and recent graduates.
Residency: Residency or training within the immediate local area may be required; relocation discussions are welcome.
Compensation & Benefits:
For 1099 Contractors:
Hourly base rate of $190/hour
Regional blocks stipend: +$5/hour
Pediatrics stipend: +$5/hour
Total rate with stipends: $200/hour
Estimated annual compensation for full-time (1712 hours): $325,000 – $345,000
Opportunities for overtime and call pay at competitive rates
For Hospital-Employed Providers:
Base salary ranging from $238,000 to $260,000 (dependent on experience)
OB, Pediatrics, and Regional Blocks stipends: $5,000 each
403(b) tax-deferred annuity with 4% match (approx. $8,000 annually)
Generous paid time off: 8 weeks (320 hours) annually
Sign-on bonus: $20,000 (includes student loan support over 5 years)
Paid holidays and birthday pay (6 holidays + birthday)
Overtime and on-call pay: $200/hour for overtime, $250/night for hospital on-call, and various weekend/day rates
Vacation payout options, plus medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and malpractice coverage
Sick leave accrual: 600 hours
