Position Overview:
Henry Ford Medical Center - Fairlane in Dearborn, MI, is seeking experienced and highly qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our dedicated anesthesia team. Key Responsibilities:
Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthesia to patients of all ages, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and ASA classes, ensuring safety and comfort during surgical, obstetrical, medical, or dental procedures.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, document findings accurately, and determine appropriate anesthetic management in partnership with supervising anesthesiologists.
Manage airway care, including intubation and emergency airway management, throughout perioperative phases and in emergent situations.
Provide leadership within the professional practice setting, supporting the development of peers and junior team members.
Assist with anesthesia-related procedures across various hospital departments, including Radiology, ICU, and Emergency Department, with potential for exposure to communicable diseases and hazards.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards concerning documentation, safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
Educate patients and families on perioperative care and anesthesia procedures, ensuring optimal understanding and comfort.
Uphold the highest standards of customer service, communication, and professionalism to foster a positive patient experience and team environment.
Support hospital and departmental policies, ethical standards, and best practices in patient care and safety.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and completion of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
Certification as a CRNA by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) is required; previous certification status is acceptable if re-certification is needed.
Minimum of 2 years of recent CRNA experience; new graduates are not eligible.
Active MI RN license and current CRNA certification.
Ability to work varied day shifts; no on-call or weekend shifts required.
Strong teamwork, communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates; we do not accept 1099 or locum candidates.
Additional Requirements:
Full COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with variable conditions.

Salary: $238,368 annually ($114.60/hour)

Conditions of Employment:
Credentialing and privileging processes require up to 90 days prior to start date.
