Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray (Varied Shifts) Location: Robbinsdale, MN (3300 Oakdale Avenue North) Employment Type: Permanent Certification Requirements: BLS, ARRT Hourly Rate: $34.70 – $49.46 (dependent on experience and union status) Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to perform quality diagnostic radiological procedures within our healthcare facility in Robbinsdale, MN. The successful candidate will provide accurate imaging services for a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients. Additional responsibilities include performing related procedures such as EKGs and Dexa bone scans, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and confidentiality standards. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct precise diagnostic imaging exams ordered by physicians or providers, presenting images for review promptly.
Administer EKGs and accurately document results for provider assessment.
Perform additional radiological procedures within scope of licensure as needed, such as Dexa scans.
Apply critical thinking to recognize emergent situations and respond appropriately to ensure patient safety.
Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential patient medical records, complying with all privacy regulations.
Operate imaging and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems effectively, completing system checks and documentation daily.
Conduct routine quality control testing to ensure imaging equipment functions properly and data integrity.
Collaborate professionally with healthcare providers, colleagues, patients, and families to facilitate effective care.
Undertake additional duties as assigned, contributing to organizational goals and patient outcomes.
Demonstrate proficiency of clinical skills, maintaining and upgrading competencies as necessary.
Comply with all legal, regulatory, accreditation, and institutional policies and standards, including North Memorial’s Corporate Code of Conduct.
Protect patient and staff privacy diligently, reporting any violations or concerns through appropriate channels.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiography (or appropriate imaging modality).
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Prior experience in diagnostic radiology or related fields is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
