About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
Perform Mobile X-Ray Examinations: Utilize portable digital (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment to acquire diagnostic-quality images. Ensure images are technically correct and clinically diagnostic before submission.
Image Transmission: Submit and transmit images promptly to radiologists for interpretation, adhering to facility protocols.
Equipment Management: Unload, transport, and set up portable X-Ray units at each site. Maintain proper cleanliness and functionality of all radiology equipment and vehicles.
EKG Services: When required, perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), ensure proper data transmission to cardiologists, and handle related documentation.
Documentation & Billing: Scan, process, and manage exam documents and billing paperwork daily in compliance with protocols.
Communication: Maintain clear, professional, and efficient communication with dispatch, management, colleagues, and clients.
Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the assigned vehicle and radiologic equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness.
Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
Valid state licensure in California
Proven experience with portable digital and computed radiography equipment
Ability to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in mobile settings
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with diverse healthcare teams
Physical capability to push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs; training provided on proper handling techniques
Flexibility to adapt to a mobile schedule, working across multiple locations
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Physical Demands:
Candidates must be able to handle physical tasks including pushing and pulling equipment weighing up to 100 lbs, with equipment handling often occurring multiple times daily.
