Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Operate portable digital (DR) and computed radiography (CR) equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations at various facilities.
Prepare and properly position patients to obtain diagnostically acceptable images. Transmit images promptly to radiologists for interpretation.
Carry out electrocardiograms (EKGs) when required, ensuring they meet technical standards, and transmit results to cardiologists for timely review.
Unload, set up, and maintain portable X-ray equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards.
Manage exam-related paperwork, billing documents, and ensure accurate documentation aligned with protocols.
Maintain and inspect imaging equipment and vehicle, ensuring adherence to safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, facility staff, and management to coordinate service delivery.
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure patient and practitioner safety.
Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification (required)
Valid state licensure (reimbursement provided after 90 days of employment)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting (50+ lbs with assistance) and the manual handling of equipment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in diverse environments
