Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team and provide high-quality mobile imaging services across various healthcare and LTC facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work independently in a dynamic environment, performing X-ray procedures and EKGs to support patient diagnosis and care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to perform diagnostic X-rays according to physician orders. Ensure images meet clinical standards and transmit them securely to radiologists for interpretation.
Unload, set up, and maneuver portable X-ray equipment within facilities, maintaining proper safety and image quality protocols.
Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) as required, transmitting results to cardiologists for analysis.
Accurately process and scan exam documentation and billing paperwork daily, adhering to company protocols.
Maintain and service X-ray equipment and vehicle to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety standards.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, facility staff, and management to coordinate timely and efficient service delivery.
Uphold professional standards in patient interaction, ensuring respectful and compassionate care.
Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification in Radiography required.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various facilities.
Strong technical skills with digital radiography and EKG procedures.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks with appropriate safety measures.
Previous mobile radiography experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Work Schedule:
Evening shifts, with flexibility depending on assignment needs.
Weekends may be required, with shift differential pay on weekends.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting hourly rate of $30.00, with a $4.00 weekend shift differential.

Physical Demands:

Additional Notes:
Must hold current ARRT certification in Radiography.
