We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in a permanent capacity. This role involves providing mobile X-ray and EKG services to various healthcare facilities, primarily nursing homes and other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality imaging, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining professional communication with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography procedures in diverse healthcare environments. Submit or transmit images promptly to radiologists for interpretation.
Set up, unload, and operate mobile X-ray equipment efficiently at designated facilities, ensuring the acquisition of clinically diagnostic, technically competent images.
Conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) as required and transmit results to cardiologists for interpretation.
Accurately scan and manage exam-related paperwork and billing documentation daily, adhering to protocol standards.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, peers, and clients to coordinate appointments and resolve issues.
Maintain and troubleshoot X-ray equipment and company vehicles, ensuring proper care and safety.
Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures to protect patients, staff, and equipment.
Qualifications:
ARRT certification required.
Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure) as a Radiologic Technologist.
Proven experience performing mobile X-ray procedures.
Strong understanding of radiation safety, imaging techniques, and patient care.
Ability to interact professionally and communicate clearly with team members and clients.
Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering equipment weighing up to 50 lbs, with accommodations available for heavier loads using appropriate tools.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
