Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mammography Technologist to join our reputable healthcare team. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care excellence in a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will perform mammographic procedures with precision, uphold safety standards, and participate in a dynamic clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mammographic imaging procedures for diverse patient populations in accordance with physician orders, ensuring timely and accurate results.
Coordinate case management efficiently with team members to maintain highest levels of patient throughput and care quality.
Conduct daily quality control assessments on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with accreditation standards (e.g., ACR) and state regulations.
Assist in the maintenance, reporting, and repair of equipment to support operational excellence.
Create a professional, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, upholding the institution’s standards of service.
Manage all administrative procedures related to mammography, including processing charges, interpreting films, generating reports, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Strictly follow radiation safety protocols, universal precautions, and hospital safety policies during all procedures.
Report safety hazards or incidents promptly and participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification in Mammography (VMS certification preferred)
BLS (AHA) certification required
Proven experience in performing mammography in a clinical setting
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly rate: $38–$56, commensurate with experience
Potential to advance into a Lead Technologist role, offering a salaried position with a yearly salary range of $77,000–$115,000
Sign-on bonus opportunities for qualified candidates who are in the process of relocating to NH
