Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in Coos Bay. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of mammography exams with precision and compassion, utilizing advanced imaging techniques to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care. Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality mammography exams in accordance with departmental protocols and safety standards.
Apply principles, theories, and techniques of mammography imaging to produce reliable and diagnostic images.
Assist radiologists and physicians in image interpretation and patient diagnosis.
Maintain and calibrate mammography equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a comfortable experience.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of procedures and patient information.
Adhere to confidentiality policies and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including HIPAA and OSHA.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and staff.
Qualifications:
Certified Mammography Technologist with current licensure.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.

This is a union position; rate negotiations are based on years of experience.
