Job Title: Echocardiography Technologist (Day Shift) – Berlin, NH

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Technologist to join our dedicated cardiology team on a full-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care through the performance of diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical excellence, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and patient comfort.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate, with a range of $36.48 to $45.59 based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform transthoracic (TTE) and transesophageal (TEE) echocardiograms, as well as stress echocardiography, following established protocols to assist in diagnosing cardiac conditions.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment and imaging software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Acquire high-quality images and measurements of cardiac structures, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, providing preliminary findings and facilitating timely interpretation of results.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of procedures and patient information within electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Adhere strictly to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education to maintain and enhance professional competence and certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Qualifications & Certification:
  • Valid certification in echocardiography (RT or RCS) or equivalent licensing as per state requirements.
  • Current certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
  • Proven experience performing transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms.
  • Strong technical skills with familiarity with ultrasound equipment and software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and teamwork.
  • Attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
