As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services to diverse patient populations within nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other medical sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality, diagnostically acceptable images.
Operate portable X-Ray and EKG equipment, transporting and setting up equipment at various healthcare and residential facilities.
Submit, transmit, and ensure accurate interpretation-ready images are sent to radiologists for review.
Conduct EKG procedures when required, transmitting results securely to cardiologists.
Manage exam documentation, scanning all related paperwork and billing records daily.
Maintain clear, professional communication with colleagues, management, dispatch, and clients to ensure seamless workflow.
Adhere to safety protocols, infection control standards, and quality assurance procedures.
Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiography required.
State licensure in Massachusetts.
Previous experience in mobile X-Ray imaging preferred.
Strong technical skills with digital radiography equipment.
Ability to lift and push equipment weighing up to 50 lbs, with assistance or mechanical aids as needed.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexibility to work afternoons, with a schedule that may vary depending on patient or client needs.
