Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist (ARRT certified) to join our radiology team at Memorial Healthcare in Owosso, MI. This full-time, day-shift position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a patient-centered environment with a focus on quality care and professional growth. We are offering an attractive sign-on bonus of $10,000 to qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare and position patients appropriately, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to age-specific guidelines.
Adjust scan protocols based on patient needs and clinical indications, maintaining a repeat rate at or below national standards.
Support general radiography procedures as needed, maintaining versatility within diagnostic imaging.
Assist radiologists during invasive procedures such as biopsies and abscess drainages, ensuring precise patient positioning and data acquisition.
Provide thorough patient assessments, obtain detailed histories, and clearly explain procedures to foster a comfortable patient experience.
Follow positive patient identification protocols and maintain effective communication with patients and staff about procedural delays or updates.
Keep current with new imaging techniques, research developments, and procedural protocols relevant to diagnostic radiology.
Record, archive, and retrieve imaging data accurately, ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
Qualifications:
Certificate or degree in Radiologic Technology with current ARRT (ARRT) certification in CT.
Proven experience in multi-modality diagnostic imaging, with proficiency in CT imaging and general radiography.
Excellent patient communication and positioning skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high diagnostic quality standards.
