We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join our dedicated cardiology team in Keene, NH. Under the supervision of the EKG/EEG/ECHO Supervisor, you will perform high-quality ultrasound imaging of the heart and related structures for patients of all ages. This role involves applying established technical standards to produce diagnostic images that support accurate physician interpretation. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive care tailored to the patient's developmental stage, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes while demonstrating compassion and technical proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquire precise echocardiographic images of the heart and adjacent structures in accordance with established protocols.
Assess and adapt imaging techniques based on patient age, physical condition, and specific clinical needs.
Collaborate with physicians to facilitate accurate diagnoses through skilled image acquisition.
Maintain and operate up-to-date ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Document procedures thoroughly and accurately in compliance with hospital standards.
Demonstrate understanding of patient-centered care by recognizing nonverbal cues and responding appropriately.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.
Previous experience in cardiac ultrasound is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and growth and development principles.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
