Position Overview:
Hodgeman County Health Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization for a permanent role in a community-focused, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a supportive environment, providing diagnostic imaging services across various departments including Radiology, Emergency Room, and Surgery Suite. The successful candidate will perform radiographic and CT procedures with proficiency and compassion, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic and computed tomography (CT) procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
Operate portable imaging equipment in emergency and surgical settings to support urgent patient needs.
Provide compassionate patient care, including patient education, positioning, and support to ensure comfort and safety.
Accurately document procedures, maintain detailed records, and ensure proper image quality for diagnosis.
Support patient communication by providing clear explanations, addressing language barriers, and maintaining professionalism.
Maintain adherence to confidentiality and privacy policies regarding patient records.
Participate in on-call rotations including nights and weekends to ensure 24/7 imaging support.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
State of Kansas certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Preferably, at least one year of radiologic/CT experience.
Ability to work independently with a high level of proficiency and professionalism.
Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity for diverse patient populations.
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual Salary: $58,240 – $74,880 (based on a 40-hour work week)
Hourly Rate: $28 – $36 (negotiable)
Sign-On Bonus: $7,000
Relocation Assistance: Possible, discussed during interview
