Hodgeman County Health Care is seeking a dedicated, certified Radiologic Technologist with computed tomography (CT) experience for a full-time, permanent role within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in Jetmore, Kansas. The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and CT scans, to facilitate accurate patient diagnoses while providing excellent patient care and education. Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality radiographic procedures using X-ray and CT imaging equipment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Operate portable imaging devices in various environments, including emergency rooms and surgical suites.
Accurately record and maintain detailed documentation of all procedures performed, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Deliver patient-centered care by identifying individual needs, providing clear explanations of procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality at all times.
Support patients with language barriers and diverse backgrounds by demonstrating professionalism, dignity, and respect.
Maintain proficiency in operating current imaging technologies and stay updated with best practices.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and optimal imaging outcomes.
Participate in rotational on-call duties, including nights and weekends, to support hospital operations.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program (minimum 2 years).
Current ARRT certification and Kansas State radiologic technologist license.
Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) with ARRT CT credential.
Minimum of 1 year of radiologic technology experience; CT experience preferred.
Strong understanding of safety standards, image quality, and patient care procedures.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
VMS Certification Requirements:
ARRT Certification required for employment consideration.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $28 to $36 hourly, based on experience and qualifications
Annual Salary Range: $58,240 – $74,880 (based on a 40-hour workweek)
Sign-On Bonus: $7,000
