Position Title: Computed Tomography (CT) / Radiologic Technologist – Days Location: Claremont, NH (243 Elm Street, Claremont, NH 03743)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) and X-Ray imaging to join our dynamic healthcare team. This full-time, permanent position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a patient-centered environment, ensuring safety, accuracy, and compassion in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and screen patients appropriately for imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical evaluation.
Explain imaging procedures clearly, adapting communication to the patient’s age and understanding level.
Assess patient pain or discomfort during procedures and collaborate with physicians for necessary interventions.
Follow strict protocols to optimize patient safety, minimize errors, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient information.
Stay informed of advances in imaging technology and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications and Certification Requirements:
Valid New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License.
Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Proven experience with CT and X-ray imaging procedures.
Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse patient populations.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary based on experience:
Entry-level (0-2 years): $27.13 – $27.29/hour
Mid-level (3-10 years): $27.72 – $32.50/hour
Experienced (11+ years): $33.08 – $39.70/hour
